Lorraine Brettle Printing workshop 14/15 March

Here are some images of the wonderful 2 day printing workshop with Lorraine. Some even printed enough fabric to make an apron.

Thank you for your hard work in preparing for this workshop. Fabulous 2 days

Gill Biel - My Life in Stitch - March 1st

Here a few slides from Gill's fascinating talk on her life of stitching since a very young age.

She went from very simple embroidery through dressmaking to creating so many beautiful pieces of work. She  had so much to show us and it was apparently only a fraction of what she has produced. We were in awe of the quantity and diversity of her work

We  are all looking forward to her Mary Feddon inspired Still Life workshop

Thank You Gill

Ruth Duffy - Inishowen and Beyond

Ruth told us of her memories of living in Inishowen, Ireland. She told us of the many different ways she uses her many skills of using textiles and stitch, as well as other techniques. She is a member of our group and we all enjoyed her talk very much and found all her work to be very interesting and inspirational.
